The Texas Land Cruiser Club Houston will be taking a road trip, trail run, to Big Bend National Park at the end of February. The dates are Friday, February 24th thru Sunday, March 4th .
While out in Big Bend the group will be staying at off-road primitive campsites throughout the Chihuahuan desert. There will also be several hikes taken to hidden Tinajas throughout the area as well as a couple of really unique slot canyons where you can walk beneath boulders the size of houses!
Last but not least, the group will visit some of the places that give this area it's charm and endearment. Places such as the La Kiva, Terlingua Store, Starlight Theater, and finally the infamous Dom Rock were Kevin Costner made the famous toast to his comrades in his first film called Fandango. |

If you have ever thought, even for a second, that you might want to own a Tear Drop Trailer, this is an article you may want to keep your eye on.

Took another road trip, over the Halloween weekend, to Lake Bistineau State Park, on the other side of Shreveport, Louisiana. For as long as I can remember I have been a fan, all though be it from afar, of what is commonly call tear drop trailers. The south central group of tear drop owners, (New Mexico, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana and Texas), were holding their fifth annual gathering at this Louisiana State Park.
